This wine is a blend of cool (Edna Valley) and warm (Sierra Foothills) Syrah grapes. Both were harvested at elevated brix, fermented, and aged separately. Look for fruit forward notes of blackberry, black cherry, white pepper, and spice, complemented by a judicious use of oak with some light smoky tones and bright acidity.
